Open House Picnic 2016

Every few years we like to put on an Open House and invite local clubs out for a picnic. Check out the Cars, Trucks, Tractors, and even a Buzz Saw that made an appearance.

A big thank you to the following groups that came out to help make the day a success:

Olympic Vintage Auto Club (OVAC), Olympic Peninsula Antique Tractor and Engine Association (OPATEA), Golden Era Auto Association (GEAA), Horseless Carriage Club of America (HCCA) Seattle-Tacoma, South Kitsap Fire and Rescue, Gallopin Gertie Model A Club, Classy K Auto Restoration, Kitsap Klassics, Kitsap Peninsula T Club, Early Day Gas Engine & Tractor Association Branch 245 (EDGE&TA), Nash Car Club, Antique Studebaker Club (ASC), Antique Truck Historical Society (ATHS) Northwest Chapter.

Among the vehicles we had an Electric car which was also the oldest vehicle in the field, a 1910 Baker Electric. The 1923 Franklin represented the only car with an air cooled engine, while the Gibson garden tractor on the bed of the Ford cab over truck sported an air cooled Wisconsin engine. A couple of vehicles showed up that looked very close to 100% original, a nice 1939 Packard Super 8 and a 1919 Garford 1-1/2 ton truck (guard dog included).
